1. Overview

Bridgelet is an offline puzzle game. There are no user accounts, no sign-up and no server operated by the provider. Your progress stays on your device.

Personal data is processed solely in connection with the advertising shown in the app.

2. Data that stays on the device

The app stores locally:

This data never leaves the device. It is not transmitted, not backed up and not analysed. It is removed completely via Settings → Delete progress or by uninstalling the app.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows advertising from Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the screen and — only when the user starts it themselves — a rewarded video.

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

To deliver ads, Google processes among other things:

The purpose is delivering and billing the ads and measuring their reach. Where consent has been given, personalised advertising is added.

Further information: policies.google.com/technologies/ads and policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Consent

Before the first ad request, a consent dialog from Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) is shown. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Processing the data strictly needed for delivery (such as the IP address) relies on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in funding an app offered free of charge.

5. No sharing by the provider

The provider does not collect, store or transmit personal data. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting and no social media integrations.

6. Children

The app is not primarily directed at children. Accordingly, tagForChildDirectedTreatment and tagForUnderAgeOfConsent are both set to "false" in the app.

7. Retention

Local game data remains until the user deletes it or uninstalls the app. Retention of the data processed by Google is governed by Google's privacy policy.

8. Your rights

You have the rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), and you may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Since the provider stores no personal data itself, requests concerning advertising data should be directed to Google.

10. Changes

This policy will be updated when the app changes. The current version is available via the link registered in the Play Console.
